As HydroVision
International 2016 approaches, scheduled for July 26-29 in Minneapolis,
Minn., at the Minneapolis Convention Center, make sure you take stock of
all of its benefits, which includes earning 15 professional development
hours (PDH). All full-conference registrants who attend HydroVision International 2016 can receive 15 PDH that are able for use in a variety of applications.
Attending the conference is useful in many ways to
many people. But, one specific instance provides an example of a person
who participated as registered full-conference attendee and used their
PDH to help meet regulatory requirements:
“After participating in
HydroVision International 2015 in Portland, Ore., I noticed I did not
print or keep a copy of the certificate for 15 professional development
hours (PDH) available for attending the conference.
I contacted the HydroVision International staff and they helped me obtain my certificate.
I was able to apply the 15
PDH towards being audited by my state’s engineering registration board.
Attending HydroVision International 2015 and attaining 15 PDH both
proved to be very useful.”
— Kenneth R. Odom, Ph.D., P.E., Southern Company Generation —
Receiving 15 PDH is a huge additional incentive to participate in the world's largest gathering of hydro industry professionals. The event features more than 70 conference sessions with 400 speakers; an exhibition that includes more than 300 of the hydroelectric industry's top product and service providers; and more than 3,000 attendees.
