Puget Sound Energy’s “Re-Energized by Design” contest is looking for
homeowners interested in battling it out for a $5,000 grand prize while
receiving free, energy-saving products.
Puget Sound Energy is launching an innovative new home makeover competition for 2013 called “Re-Energized by Design” that combines energy efficiency with elegant home design. They’re looking for contestants interested in battling it out for a $5,000 grand prize while receiving stylish, energy-saving products provided by PSE, GE, and Frigidaire, for free. Six contestants will be selected to participate in Re-Energized by Design’s series of room-by-room challenges. Each contestant will be paired with a local designer who will provide guidance and encouragement. Contestants will be filmed as they complete the projects, and will appear in a series of webisodes. After each challenge, a panel of three celebrity judges will review the contestants’ projects and eliminate one of the contestants.
All home-owning PSE electric and natural gas customers living in an existing single-family property or attached housing with four units or less are eligible to become contestants. To enter, create a short video introducing yourself and your home and upload it to the Re-Energized by Design website before the Oct. 31, 2012, entry deadline.
